At First National Bank we take your privacy and protection seriously. We have procedures in place designed to prevent, detect and respond to identity theft.
Although we take every precaution in preserving your identity and privacy, we encourage customers to do the following:

Shred financial documents

Protect your social security number

Don't give out personal information over the phone or on the internet unless you know who you are dealing with

Never click on links sent in unsolicited emails

Don't use obvious passwords like your birth date, mother's maiden name, etc.

Keep personal information in a secure place

Inspect your credit report and financial statements for any suspicious activity

Report any suspicious activity immediately
Be alert to the following:

Bills that do not arrive as expected

Unexpected credit cards or account statements

Denials of credit for no apparent reason

Calls or letters about purchases you did not make
Contact the bank to report any suspicious activity or to report any lost or stolen debit/credit cards.
